This Advanced Tabla Course is designed for experienced tabla players seeking to deepen their mastery of the instrument through complex rhythmic compositions, advanced techniques, and performance-level repertoire. Emphasis is placed on the exploration of intricate tala (rhythmic cycles), advanced kaidas, relas, gats, tukras, and traditional compositions from various gharanas (schools), particularly focusing on Benares, Delhi, Ajrada, Lucknow, and Punjab styles.

Students will refine their technique, develop speed and clarity, and expand their improvisational skills within both solo and accompaniment contexts. The course also explores the theoretical and historical foundations of tabla, including the study of laykari (rhythmic variation), tihai (rhythmic cadences), and cross-rhythms.
