Course Content

This course is ideal for students who already have a basic understanding of Indian classical vocal music and are ready to take their skills to the next level. With a strong foundation in place, learners will now explore the more expressive and technical aspects of Hindustani classical singing.

Students will delve deeper into the art of Khayal Gayaki, focusing on Aalap (melodic improvisation), Taane (fast-paced melodic runs), and other advanced forms of Raga elaboration. Emphasis will be placed on voice modulation, developing musical imagination, and building confidence in presenting structured yet creative improvisations.

The course also introduces learners to advanced listening techniques to better understand phrasing, mood, and interpretation in performance. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to approach ragas with greater depth, creativity, and discipline.
