Online Kathak Dance Class

Take your Kathak journey to the next level with our Intermediate Kathak Course, specially designed for students who have completed the beginner level and are ready to refine their rhythm, expressions, and technique.

In this course, dancers will dive deep into Teentaal (16-beat rhythm cycle) and gain an introduction to Dadra Taal (6 beats) and Keherwa Taal (8 beats) — three of the most essential Taals in Indian classical Kathak dance. You’ll also explore footwork variations, rhythmic patterns, and improvisation skills to enhance your stage performance and confidence.

Students will practice Todas, Tukras, Tihais, and complex Tatkar variations, while learning to synchronize footwork with rhythm and expression. This course bridges technical training with artistic storytelling — a vital step in becoming a graceful Kathak performer.
