Bansuri Beyond Basics

This course is for students who have mastered the basics and can play simple ragas with accuracy. The focus will be on expanding raga knowledge (Bihag, Kafi, Desh, Bageshree), developing improvisation skills (Alaap, Taan, Sargam), and learning taals (Teentaal, Dadra, Keharwa).

Students will also practice meend (gliding between notes), gamak (oscillations), and layakari (rhythmic variations), which are essential to bansuri performance.
