Advanced Techniques to Melodic Mastery

This course is a practical-based course which holds monthly subscription. One class per week is the frequency distribution of practical training. Classes can be in Online mode and Offline mode. Each lecture will be in a duration of 45mins. This course is for intermediate and advanced level students.

This advanced-level course is designed for students with a strong foundation in harmonium and Indian classical music. It focuses on raag-based improvisation, complex taals, and accompaniment techniques for vocal and instrumental music. Students will deepen their understanding of raag grammar, learning to develop alaap, sargam patterns, taans, and intricate harmonies while maintaining tonal clarity and expressive phrasing.

 The course also emphasizes left-hand technique for drone and octave control, fingering agility, and improvisation within rhythmic cycles like Teentaal, Jhaptaal, and Rupak.
